Salman Khan starrer Kick to get new release date?

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick was initially scheduled to release on Eid, and those keen on knowing, knew Salman had been working non-stop just so the team could stick to this release date. Now, according to what reports are suggesting, Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut may get a new release date. There's reportedly a 40-day scheduled still waiting to get completed.
This is yet another delay for the movie that started late anyway due to some issue apparently with Salman Khan's UK visa, and the most recent development: the reopening of the 2002 hit-and-run case involving the actor. Other instances like the makers wanting bulk dates for Salman, Jacqueline and Randeep (also in the film), only delayed the movie further, according to reports. Meanwhile, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is shooting for his part in the film. There were also reports of Deepika Padukone doing an item number in the film, news that has been reportedly been denied by producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala. As far as any delays are concerned, Sajid has been quoted by a daily as saying they're sticking to the original Eid release date.

Salman Khan Hit & Run Trial – Witness claims receiving death threats

In a setback to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The three witnesses who deposed today - Manu Khan, Mohammed Kalim Iqbal Pathan and Muslim Shaikh , identified him in a sessions court saying they had seen him getting down from the car which had met with an accident in Bandra on September 28, 2002. But another development took place in which one of the witnesses who deposed today has lodged a complaint claiming that he had received a threatening call a few days back. Another witness Sheikh, has alleged that his former lawyer, Mukesh Pandey, tried to influence him to change his statement by offering him a bribe. Pandey is said to have been instrumental in helping the victims, including Sheikh, to get compensation. He also reportedly helped them open bank accounts and stood guarantor for them. As per sources, Sheikh said he received two calls from the same number and the unidentified caller told him, “Paanch lakh le lo aur palat jao” (take Rs. 5 lakh and change your statement). Sheikh refused the offer, the man called him again. This time, the witness disconnected the call. The next day Sheikh submitted a written complaint with the Bandra Police. Senior police inspector Ramchandra Dhawale of Bandra police station said, “The SIM card from which the call was made, was registered in the name of Pandey, a High Court lawyer. We have received an order from the court to investigate the matter. We will appoint an inspector-level officer in the case, who will properly look into the matter and submit a report in the next hearing. The court will decide if an FIR is to be lodged.” Sources added that, Advocate Mukesh Pandey pleaded innocence and said, “The police are playing games with me. I have not made any such calls. Also, I have no connections with Salman’s family. In fact, I had helped the cops trace the witness in the recent case. I gave an interview that all the witnesses are present in the court and the Bandra police is unwilling to trace them.” The court is conducting a re-trial of the case, after charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder were added recently. The offence attracts a ten-year sentence. Salman Khan was present in the court accompanied by his sisters Alvira and Arpita Khan.

Redfoo is a big fan of Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone

It's Stefan Gordy a. k. a. Redfoo's first performance in India and the one thing that's on his mind, other than " converting the country into a party planet", is Bollywood. " I'm fascinated by Bollywood - the item songs, the vibrant culture and the beautiful women. In fact, I'm a huge fan of Deepika Padukone, Manjeet Ral from Bhangra band RDB, and Salman Khan. I'd like to party rock with them when I'm in India," he says ahead of his May 10 gig at Kingdom of Dreams and the May 11 show in Mumbai.
One half of the American musical duo LMFAO, Redfoo has always been in the company of celebrities. Being the youngest son of Motown Record Company founder Berry Gordy, Jr., Redfoo would often come across pop star Michael Jackson or R& B singer Smokey Robinson at his father's house. " I was at dad's house at Thanksgiving and Christmas and in the summer I'd go there for a month. So when I saw Michael Jackson for the first time, he was already ' the Michael Jackson'. With Smokey Robinson it was like ' Oh, that's the guy who plays backgammon with my Dad. Oh, he sings too'," he adds. His own career in music began in 2006 when he formed LMFAO with his nephew Sky Blu a. k. a.
Skyler Gordy. A few years later, in 2011 to be precise, the duo took over the charts with hits such as ' Party Rock Anthem' and ' Sexy and I Know It'. But since then, the uncle- nephew team has gone on hiatus. " Sky and I have very strong personalities," says Redfoo whose tour comes on the heels of Sky Blu's India concerts in March this year. " We just wanted to slightly go in different directions. So it was like, okay, let's just take a break and go in these directions, and then we'll come back later and be stronger than ever." Redfoo has of late been busy with recording his upcoming solo album, being a judge on the reality music competition The X Factor in Australia, and performing all over the world. His India tour has been organised by Netsurf Entertainment, Crossbar Entertainment and Bigdream Entertainment.

Play a Salman Khan fan in ‘Main Aur Mr Riight’: Nirbhay Wadhwa

Actor Nirbhay Wadhwa, best known for portraying Dushasana in mythological TV drama series ‘Mahabharat’, will be seen playing a Salman Khan fan in his debut Bollywood film ‘Main Aur Mr Riight’. The movie will also mark the big screen debut of TV actor Barun Sobti of ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ fame, who plays the main lead. VJ-turned-actress Shenaz Treasurywala stars in the film as Sobti’s love interest. Nirbhay will be seen playing the role of a struggling actor. “I play Rajiv in the film, who has come to Mumbai to be a hero. There is a film that is being made in the movie. I have come to give an audition for the film. My character is a hard core Salman Khan fan. He does not listen to anyone, does his own thing. He is a nobody but he still looks down upon others,” Nirbhay said. “I have scenes with Makarand Deshpande and Shenaz,” said the actor, who has been part of shows like ‘Crime Patrol’ and CID’. Nirbhay is awaiting the release of the film, which is currently in post-production. When asked about the difference between working in films and television, the actor says, “‘Mahabharat’ is a huge show. The film that I have done is not a big budget film. So, that is the main difference. I could not understand or learn much while shooting my film as it was a short span of six days. “I have been on the TV show for many months now and have evolved as an actor,” he said. ‘Mahabharat’ has been airing on Star Plus since September last year. The show, which comes almost 20 years after BR Chopra’s super hit series based on the Hindu epic, has been able to strike the right chord with the audience. Nirbhay, who has bulked up for his role in ‘Mahabharat’, feels it was mandatory for him to build his body in order to make his character believable. “I build my body to make my character more believable. If the audience sees that I am lean but still I am fighting with people double my size and landing blows on them, they will not accept it. It has become a requirement to have a good body,” said Nirbhay, who idolises bodybuilders like Ronnie Coleman, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Markus Ruhl. The actor says he prepared for the role of Dushasana after reading about him and also watching Vinod Kapoor, who portrayed Duryodhana’s younger brother in BR Chopra’s version.

Salman Khan Khan's fan support him in 2002 hit-and-run case (view pics)

No matter what’s court’s judgment over Salman Khan in 2002 hit-and-run case, his ardent fans would never accept him as guilty. Twelve years after the case comes haunting the Dabangg Khan, his fans are standing alongside him in full support. Among them there is a particular section, which on a daily basis makes a visit outside his Bandra Apartment no matter what the conditions are. Salman’s Galaxy Apartments, which is around the corner from the bakery where Salman Khan lives in a flat below his parents, is located on a wide curve along a seafront street.
Every evening his loyal fans safely gather in large groups without fear of being run over, or being defeated by rain or scorching sun. There big prize is nothing but a small glimpse of their bhai who occasionally marks his presence in balcony and waves his hand towards them. But these days it is said that he is in his Panvel farmhouse to avoid attention for the case. “I have been here for two days,” said Shahi Khan, 16, from Mumbai, in an interview to a leading daily. The boy bunked college to see the superstar. “People have been saying he won’t come because he is in Panvel. But I have seen him once already a month-and-a-half ago. I hope I can see him again.”
About the case he is confident that the actor is innocent. “It is a false case,” he said. “He is the best of all the stars and he is the biggest social worker. It cannot be true.” Another fan of his says, “They are only putting a case against him because he is a star,” chipped in Rahul Kumar, 21, also from Delhi. “Had people like us done something similar, they would not have made such a fuss about it.” Only Mohammed Kamran from “CG”, Chhattisgarh, was willing to accept that if Khan was found guilty, he should have to serve his time. "I am a fan, so I will of course say that he is innocent," he said. "But if bhai has done it, then he must get justice." What will be the outcome, it’s hard to judge. May the justice prevail, is all we could say for now!
